Overview:
Cookies are used to save information that you enter for subsequent inputs and visits. These cookies are bits of information that save the values of some of the fields that you enter so that the next time you enter a request from the same PC, this information will be automatically placed in the field. The fields that are saved in the cookie file are POC Name, POC DODAAC, and POC Email. Any information that is filled in by a cookie may be changed before this information is saved in the cookie file; your permission is required. If you refuse permission, this information is NOT saved.
Fields that are preceded by the "required" icon, are required input and must be entered. All fields in this submission will be "required" with the exception of description and remarks.
There is editing done on the input to try to prevent any errors in processing. You will see small windows open after exiting certain fields. These windows are being used to validate input and should self close.

Submission of Reusable Excess Equipment:
Nomenclature: You will need to enter this field to identify the equipment.
Manufacturer: You will need to enter the manufacturer name. If manufacturer information is not available, state "unknown".
NSN or Part Number: You will need to enter either the National Stock Number (NSN) or part number. Model number is also acceptable.
Unit of issue: You will need to enter the unit of issue. You may view all valid unit of issue values by using the unit of issue codes linked to the right of this field.
Cost: You will need to enter the original acquisition unit cost, if known. If unknown, an estimated unit cost will be accepted. A decimal point will be entered after the number if one is not entered.
Quantity: You will need to enter the number of items available for excess.
Condition Code: It is essential that an accurate condition code be assigned. The excess equipment must be in condition code A or B. Equipment with other condition code may be disposed of through your local supply channels.
A - Serviceable (issuable without qualification); new used, repairable or reconditioned equipment that is serviceable and issuable without limitation or restriction.
B - Serviceable (issuable with qualification); new used, repairable or reconditioned equipment that is serviceable and issuable; however, may have limited usefulness or short service life expectancy.
Suspense Date: Excess equipment will be advertised for 30 days. The date is displayed by numeric month/date/year format, i.e. 02/01/2000.
Description: Entering a brief description will better describe and clarify excess equipment. If the equipment has special or add-on options, please state so.
POC Name: This field must be entered. Enter your name or the point of contact for this action. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
POC DODAAC: Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAAC) must be entered. It will be validated against the official DODAAC file. If it is not valid the reporting of excess equipment will not process. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
POC E-mail: This field must be entered. Enter your email address or the email address for point of contact for this action. If you or the point of contact do not have an email address, please enter nomail@anywhere.com. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
Note: Please ensure email address is valid. Communication and disposition instructions will be provided via email.
Remarks: Use this field for any comments or remarks pertaining to this equipment.

Browse Excess Equipment List:
Available equipment is listed in alphabetic order by nomenclature. Use the scroll bar on the right to view the equipment list.
You can search all fields by using the "Edit" function on the tool bar, at the top of your screen. To search, click on "Edit", click on "Find in Page" or "Ctrl-F", enter search keyword in "Find What", then click "Find Next". If the keyword is found, the page will move to that location. Click "Find Next" to go to the next occurrence of the keyword. A new keyword can be entered at anytime; however, it is recommended the equipment list be at the top with the 'Direction' "Down" box checked.
To exit "Find", click on the "Cancel" button or the "X" at the top right corner of the Find dialog window.
A quick view of all equipment is available by clicking on "Quick View". This list will show Nomenclature, Manufacturer, NSN/Part Number/Model Number and Suspense date.

Request for Usable Excess Equipment:

Quantity Requested: This field must be entered. You will need to enter the quantity of the available item(s) you would like to request.
Name: This field must be entered. Enter your name or the point of contact for this action. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
Phone Number: This field must be entered. Enter your phone number or the phone number for point of contact for this action. List phone number as DSN XXX-XXXX or (Area Code) XXX-XXXX. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
E-mail: This field must be entered. Enter your email address or the email address for point of contact for this action. If you or the point of contact do not have an email address, please enter nomail@anywhere.com. This field value is saved in a cookie, if you have granted permission for cookies.
Transportation Control Number: This field must be entered. The Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAAC) will be validated against the official DODAAC file. In the Julian Date and Serial Number, the first 4 characters represent the Julian date of the date you want to enter for this TCN. For the serial number, you may use any desired value. Please be careful not to provide the Serial Number more than once for the same Julian Date.
